During the last years in Lundaspelen we have arranged an Elite-tournament in the oldest categories B/G 18 on a trial basis. We have evaluated the trial and decided to keep going and also include the B/G16 category.

Our Elite-tournament is played as follows:
We will invite and/or select ten of the very best teams available. These ten teams per class will be divided into two groups containing five teams each, and from these two groups the top four teams will enter the A-finals while the 5:th team will enter the B-finals. All other teams will play in “ordinary” groups containing 5 or 6 teams each, from which the top two teams will enter the A-final round and the remaining teams will enter the B-final round.

From there the ordinary A- and B-finals will be played (elimination tournament). In the A-finals the winners of the Elite groups will be seeded as no 1 and no 2. You cannot register for the Elite-tournament but if you consider the strength of your team to be among the very top teams, please send an e-mail to info@lundaspelen.com and describe the qualifications of your team. We will then contact you for further discussions. No team will participate in the Elite-tournament without their approval.
